Sports Wrap-Up

The PSU men’s cross-country team dominated the Emmanuel Invitational at Franklin Park in Boston on October 14. Sophomore Warren Bartlett, (Loudon, N.H.) dominated the 8k run, finishing first out of 192 runners. PSU would go on to place tenth out of 23 teams.

Women’s cross country had its top finish in four years, finishing second out of 18 schools. Junior Rileigh Goulette, (Saint Albans, V.T.) placed 13th out of 167 runners in the 5k race with a time of 20:58.

Plymouth State University’s tennis team fell short to Worcester State on October 18. The Lancers lead 3-0 in singles, but the Panthers would win No. 6 singles. The loss ended the Panthers season, finishing 7-7 overall.
