Energy competition saves thousands of dollars

Pemi Hall has been declared the winner of the annual PSU "Do it in the Dark" energy saving competition, with Grafton Hall and Mary Lyon Hall taking second and third. "Do it in the Dark" is PSU's way of promoting their environmentally friendly style, while teaching students in residence halls good energy saving habits.

1) Jared Barrows' Death - April 15, 2007 Jared Barrows, a senior at PSU, was seriously injured in a fight with first year Benjamin Grew. Barrows had suffered a blow to the head, resulting in a drastic increase in intracranial pressure. Barrows was rushed to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical center and later died of various complications.

This decade began five days short of my eleventh birthday. I don't think I even stayed up to ring in the New Year. I concerned myself with the day-to-day activity of the average fifth grader: mainly, AOL instant messaging and J-14 magazine. I guess the oughts didn't change me that much: now I'm enamored with Facebook and Cosmo.
