The first matchup of the year came from the University of New England at Big Blue turf on March 5, where the Panthers left empty handed with a 5-9 loss. Junior Colin Claflin (Pembroke, MA) and senior Bobby Savoia (Plymouth, MA) both recorded a goal each during the game.
Plymouth State led in shots on net 22-18 up until the fourth quarter when the Nor’Easters took a conquering and fatal lead on net, tallying 21 shots. Adam Haversat (Cape Elizabeth, M.E.) led the game nabbing nine ground balls, and junior goalie Jayson LaRiviere (Chelmsford, MA) denied ten shots.
Plymouth State would then go on to face Lassell College on March 9, again emerging defeated 12-15. The Panthers had to play catch up from the start, down four goals, but were able to come within one goal when sophomore Galen Antolino (Exeter, NH) made the contest 5-4. Senior Phil Pichel (Hopkinton, MA) was able to slip three goals into the net, along with a pair of assists, while junior teammate Mac Tetreault (New Durham, NH) recorded the Panthers first of two hat tricks during the game.
The Panthers would go on to face conference competitor Castleton, only to be defeated again 11-8, after battling the Spartans on March 12. Plymouth State outshot Castleton 49-38, and the Spartans would go on to give up 21 turnovers.

Senior Ryan Garland (Franklin, MA) recorded four ground balls and forced four turnovers. Jayson LaRiviere stopped nine of the Spartans shots on net.

The Buccaneers would not go quietly though, rallying back to make score 5-4 by the third quarter. Plymouth State answered right back, scoring four more goals in the final five minutes. Sophomore Cam Cormier (Auburn, ME) would seal the fate of the Buccaneers with two goals late in the game.
Galen Antonio would record a hat trick for himself along with an assist, and Junior Pete Allen (Newbury, NH) also put a hat trick on the books. Phil Pichel contributed three assists. The Panthers outshot Massachusetts Maritime 37-27, and Jayson LaRiviere blocked 12 shots.
