Sticks slashing, pucks sliding, and players bashing in EA’s recently made NHL 17. The legacy of the game has grown, progressing each year, and gaining better ideas from the users and fixing mistakes from previously dated games. This one has added improved modes, alongside original classics everybody loved.
Online and offline shootouts are back and better than ever, along with the new and improved franchise mode. The most used mode would be Ultimate team, which is creating your team from the bottom up. First, you pick your favorite NHL team, then you’re given a few players and items from that team. You will have some starter players who are very low in the ranks and this is when you progress through online games slashing, brag- ging, and losing a lot so you can gain better players and swag for your team. It is tedious, but the reward; know- ing you succeeded in making a 5-star ultimate team.
If one-on-one hockey isn’t your strong suit, then try 6v6 online play. Each position on the team is a player online. You battle through a full hockey game together as a team, or as 6 figure skaters running around the ice without any rhythm. The games can change in length due to penalty’s or pauses from anyone online player. For all those hockey lovers, this is the game for you. It is as realistic as it gets. The goalies make unbeliev- able saves and some NHL stars can create the most terrifying hits in any simulated game ever.
