Music:

During the week of November 5, 2007, the single “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” was enjoying its reign over the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It would stay there until November 10, when Chris Brown and T-Pain would steal the spot.

Movies:

During this week ten years ago, the romantic/holiday comedies and drama films “I Could Never Be Your Woman” (starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd) and “Lions for Lambs” (Meryl Streep, Robert Redford and Tom Cruise) and Fred Claus (starring Vince Vaughn) were stealing the cinematic spotlight.

Video Games:

During this week in 2007, “Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga” continued to feed the Star Wars/Lego hybrid franchise, and “The Simpsons Game” came out for the PSP.

Books:

“Playing for Pizza,” a sports novel which was uncharacteristic of its author John Grisham, held the #1 spot on “The New York Times” best seller list.
