Students choose from three programs: a Traditional Academic Program, designed to give students an introduction to and an overview of South African history, politics, art, literature, science, culture and business; a Health Care Program, designed to introduce students to the health care system in South Africa; or a Doing Business in South Africa Program, designed to teach students about the unique institutional and policy conditions in Southern African countries.
AIFS is recognized as the premium provider of study abroad programs. Our all-inclusive program fees cover tuition and housing with $800,000 in scholarship and grant funding available each year. A meal plan, tours and excursions, insurance and 24-hour emergency service are also included. Since 1964, over 1.5 million students have traveled abroad with AIFS.
