Panther Power Rankings

Team

1.Men’s Hockey (12-7-3 overall, last issue 1st): Three consecutive wins have allowed this team to clinch the MASCAC regular season championship, and first seed in the post-season tournament. Will they be able to keep the winning streak going heading into the playoffs?

2.Men’s Slalom Skiing (7th/6th in most recent events, last issue 3rd): This team is on a roll as their regular season came to a close, as they have improved as the 2015 season has progressed. Watch for the Panthers to make noise at the NCAA Regional Championships next weekend.

3.Wrestling (3-12 overall, unranked last issue): In the North Atlantic Championships at the University of Southern Maine last weekend, this team was able to capture the top spot of the seven teams that competed at the tournament.

4.Men’s Basketball (7-17 overall, last issue 2nd): This will be the team that no one will want to play in the playoffs, as they continue to play opponents to very close games. One win could give this team a ton of momentum and confidence heading into the end of February

5.Women’s Hockey (3-18-2 overall, last issue 5th): Ashley Kilstein’s Panthers have a HUGE back-to-back this weekend, as this team will go against two teams that are battling for the same playoff spots as the Panthers
