Dear editor,
Having just read the article about the UN flag controversy I felt a strong urge to comment. This is ridiculous propaganda, the United Nations is an inept organization that has long outlived any usefulness it may have had. For the United Nations has no bearing on United States policy-making and therefore should not be given recognition at federal and state institutions.
In contrast to the socialist ideals that the college sponsors and the United Nations try to blanket the world in, the reality is that the UN is an impotent puppet organization with no real sense of direction or strong leadership. It has bungled every “event” it has taken part in, costing lives and prolonging suffering . Furthermore, it continues to act belligerant towards the United States while continually needing our support to rescue it. Support the US, say no to the UN.
