The Son of Slam Returns

At 7:30 p.m. on tuesday April 26, come and witness The Son of Slam! The Son of Slam is an annual poetry/spoken word competition hosted by Biederman’s. Each of eight people will get up and do their thing in a non-traditional slam poetry showcase and audience members will vote on a winner.This year’s contestants are Alex Crangle, Ed Dugas, Cara Losier, Annabelle Winters, Christine Messina, Eric Agosta, Molly Sutherland, and Robby Binette. These eight individuals will be duking it out for the coveted “Silver Ham”. The winner will take home this fabulous prize and the remaining seven contestants will all receive a lovely parting gift.Winners of the past Biederman’s Son of Slam competitions are: Jason McKenzie (2000), Nicky Ross (2001), Jon Link (2002), Dan Singer (2003), and Paris Landry (2004).
