Imagine you’re a child or teen that possibly would not be getting a Christmas this year. How do you cope with that? Fortunately, PSU Volunteers sponsors a gift-giving project known as The Angel Tree Project here in the HUB. The project has helped out hundreds of young people in the area have a Christmas for the past eight years and is still continuing strong. PSU Volunteers expects to have over 500 gift receivers this year. During the dates of Nov. 28 to Dec. 5, students can help a young person by coming to the holiday tree and choosing one or more angels that have gift ideas on them. After purchasing the gift, wrap it and bring it back to PSU Volunteers with the angel attached, and then it will be delivered. That’s all it takes to make a person’s holiday be a little brighter. Students who would like to know more information, or would like to volunteer, please visit the Community Service Learning Center in the Administration Office in the HUB for more information.
