If Ohio representative Dennis Kucinich’s political stances matched his stature he’d be the second tallest Democratic candidate in America.
The vegan, second-time running presidential candidate filed paper work towards impeaching Vice President Dick Cheney. No one has backed up the proposal making Kucinich’s position among the rest of the candidates, especially the Democrats, resembles little more than a pariah.
His attack at Cheney is not the only stance positioning him outside of the political in-crowd. The Time Magazine article, “The Kucinich Conundrum,” describes the five foot seven 60-year-old Kucinich as, “That kid in high school who ran for class president, the one who wasn’t popular, who didn’t have money or dress well or even make a decent hallway poster.”
However, Kucinich seems always be smiling and upbeat. His campaign website, Kucinich.us, is perhaps the most extensive on describing his stance on most issues -including his desire to cut back on the War on Drugs. What is intriguing about the small congressman is that his wife, Elizabeth, is a stunning British, six feet, 29-year-old red head. Not only did she agree to marry him after one date but has been seen with him everywhere on his campaign trail.
When Kucinich finishes his speeches, as of late, he twirls about the stage stating that he is a political candidate without strings. The Time’s grants that Kucinich is perhaps the most earnest candidate as he has written the “Department of Peace” legislation and is quoted as responding when asked if he is frustrated of being stepped on yet, “Not at all. The real test of power is whether you can endure the setbacks and still meet each day with integrity and courage.” The article however states that his claim is a test of moral fiber and that “power” is rather the ability to persuade and lead.
