Move over Grafton Hall-there is a new G Spot in town. On October 12, a new store called G Spot 2 Music and Clothing opened at 123 Main Street. DJ Reflex and Politic also co-own the original G-Spot Music and Clothing located in Laconia.
This urban store is definitely different from the existing shops in Plymouth. Shoppers are met with a hip-hop beat and unfortunately, bare-bone racks. G.2 offers a wide selection of underground mix-tapes featuring music by the best in the business at low price. A CD is only $10.00, while four go for $20.00. The shop imports new music every two weeks to ensure a fresh new variety for your listening enjoyment.
However, when it comes to clothing, G Spot may not be the spot, as the selection is rather sparse, with no actual complete outfits for sale. If you’re a fan of NIKE Air Force Ones, G Spot can hook you up with a pair costing $60.00 for the traditional style and $70.00 for high-tops.
DJ Reflex, originally from Brooklyn, New York now resides in The Granite State and has become a local success, breaking into the mix-tape business. “I am a real person with real goals I see opportunity where most people don’t, some people don’t understand me but they respect my hustle,” he said.
Politic, the other half of G Spot, is also in the music business with his new song “Hollywood” being played on 94.1.
Though it seems a bit out of its comfort zone, G Spot 2 has the potential to be a success here in Plymouth.
