Last week, we received these two pumpkins in response to our editorial from the Nov. 7 issue of The Clock, which addressed the lack of pumpkins being displayed atop Rounds Hall. Upon the pumpkins was written a letter, which told of eight attempts to place the pumpkins on top of the spires, all of which were foiled due to increases in security measures to keep this longstanding Plymouth State tradition from happening. It is speculated that these new security measures were in response to the slate roof that was installed on Rounds Hall at the beginning of the school year. Both University Police and Physical Plant would not comment on the heightened security, but instead pointed The Clock in the direction of University Public Relations.
