Enfield Gets Lifted in March

Lift Fest is a groundbreaking music festival for New Hampshire, cracking the ice as the first larger-scale organization of electronic music, funky jazz, jam bands, and a plethora of other genres to get feet stomping. The location is Whaleback Mountain, Enfield, NH, which is roughly an hour drive from the Plymouth State University campus.

Lift Fest features electronic acts such as Ghostland Observatory, Conspirator, Paper Diamond, Orchard Lounge, Danger, Break Science, Alpha Data, AIMES, Jeff Bujak, Outlet, Michetti, Horizon Wireless, ELECTRONICAnonymous, Speakerbot, Supersillyus, and Sonkin. That’s definitely a list worth checking out on its own.

For groovier, funkier music, Lift Fest also booked Lettuce, Indobox, Business Casual Disco, Greg D, and The McLovins. This gives festivalgoers a change to breathe after huge bass drops and lasers, and dance around for a little while listening to some jazzier beats.

Two-day passes for Lift Fest are only $100, which also includes two days of skiing at Whaleback. Lift Fest also offers VIP packages, also including lift tickets, for $225. The VIP package includes indoor lounge access, access to a private cash bar, private DJ sets by artists (TBD), better viewing area of stage, limited edition poster of Lift Fest, VIP laminate, and VIP shuttle access.

Lift fest also offers shuttles to and from Hanover/Lebanon, NH and White River Junction, VT, for $35. These shuttles run to a list of hotels posted on the Lift Fest website.

The dates for the event are Friday, March 16, and Saturday, March 17, 2012. Lift Fest also offers street team opportunities for those who are tight on cash, and wouldn’t mind handing out flyers in exchange for tickets. For any information on Lift Fest, please visit liftfest.net.
