PLYMOUTH, N.H. – After a streak of losses, Plymouth State’s women’s soccer team bounced back with a 3-1 victory on home turf on Wed., Sept. 26 against the Lyndon State Hornets.
The Lady Panthers were the first to put a score on the board, thanks to junior Cassie Graham, who scored her third goal of the season 22 minutes into the first half. Junior Carol Messler followed up in the second half with two more goals for Plymouth, giving the Panthers a safe 3-0 lead.
Larissa Bargfrede of Lyndon State responded with what would be the Hornets’ only goal that afternoon, and her first goal of the season, with less than three minutes left on the clock.
