2013 Plymouth Town Elections

 

The beginning of a new year calls for many changes within the Plymouth community. New teachers, businesses and leaders of the community are coming to arise.

In just one short month, the town of Plymouth will be holding elections for the new Board of Selectman. On March 12, 2013, the selectman election will be held. Just like the November elections, they will be held at the Plymouth elementary school open from 8am until 7pm. All residents of Plymouth, as well as students, are encouraged to come and place a vote on this date.

There are currently five candidates running for the Board of Selectman, which is holding two available positions. These positions are three-year terms, which will soon be held by two of the following candidates. The candidates running include; Omer C. Ahern Jr., William Bolton, Peter Martin, Neil Mciver and William Gosney, also known as Ray, who will be running for a second consecutive term.

All of the candidates show great promise for improving and maintain the town of Plymouth. Show support by getting to the ballots and making your opinion heard for the election.

As well as the Selectman election, there are many other positions that need to be filled this year. Other upcoming elections include; Tax Collector, Town Clerk, Elementary Trustee, Library Trustee and Trustee of Trust Funds.
