NBC Shuts Down

-New York City, NY —-  Inspired by the revolutions of the middle-east, the revolt on wall street and the ever growing fight on equality of human rights, hundreds of people have gone to 30 Rockefeller Center and have taken over NBC Studios.  Among the many reasons for the take-over and subsequent downfall of America’s most floundering major network, is just the overall lack of common sense that is present.  There is no current leader of the organized overthrow, just the similar idea that NBC needs to be changed.

President Barack Obama was quoted as saying, “We will send in any amount of armed troops possible to make sure the situation goes in favor of those who oppose the guerilla army that have taken over 30 Rockefeller Center.”  Soon after, he was overheard speaking with First Lady, Michelle Obama, about how he had just now realized why the show “30 Rock” was “called that.”

Many onlookers seemed surprised and blatantly stunned that this was happening.  A tourist from Missouri hadn’t realized NBC was even a network.  “It’s just not something we have the money for, it’s not worth it.”  When told that it was free with any basic cable package, she refused to hear by blocking her ears and then shouting that she couldn’t hear what was being said.  This was the response many a passersby gave.

President of Program Planning, Strategy and Research, Jeff Bader was seen tarred and feathered outside of the building doors. “This one giant community of people kept shouting for change.  It’s like there is this communal power all fighting for something.  I kept telling them I didn’t know what they wanted and that they should tell their friends and anyone in their community to watch whatever shows it is they are so passionate about.”

As the day grows longer, the building is still occupied and changes in the scheduling have been being made.  The only problem is that it appears the network has over-saturated their TV schedule with “complete and utter nonsense” one participant said.

“There are simply not enough good programs to get this show on the road,” a mob member stated.  When questioned if he really went there, he simply replied “Oh yes, I went there.”

We here at The Crock do not know what will become of the takeover of NBC.  Only that literally, nothing bad can come of it.  This was the network that green lit “Animal Practice” and “Whitney” after all.
