Uncensored Hypnotist casts Spell Over PSU

Acclaimed uncensored hypnotist Sailesh put on a wonderfully entertaining show on Wed., Oct. 2nd in the HUB Hage Room. The show had been so anticipated that the Hage room could barely fit the audience that attended the event and had to turn away about 100 students. Fifteen minutes before the show the room was buzzing with excitement and there were no seats available. People stood in the back and even sat on the floor in front of the rows of seats. There were even some who watched the show from the hall outside. Regardless of where they had to sit or stand, everyone in the audience enjoyed themselves.

Sailesh opened the two hour-long show by inviting anybody who wanted to be hypnotized up on stage to fill the seats that were placed at the front of the room. In total there were three boys and 13 girls that volunteered to be hypnotized. However it was not just the people on stage that got to take part in the show. He also invited anybody in the audience who did not get to be on stage to take part in the hypnotism from their seats, and there were several in the audience who were affected, and some even fell asleep in their seats and several of the affected people in the audience were invited on stage to fill seats when people left the stage after failing to be hypnotized.

Sailesh began the show by simply making the volunteers go into deep relaxation and fall into their hypnotic states. As the show continued, he began making the hypnotized volunteers do progressively stranger things. From dancing and uncontrollable cursing, to making them think they were astronauts on a mission to Mars. He even convinced them that their bodies were made of rubber, pretending to stretch their arms and noses out and tie people’s belly buttons together. The highlights of the show came when Sailesh convinced all the volunteers that they could read minds, and he had them read the minds of people in the audience. This lead to several hilarious (and in some cases embarrassing) moments for those in the audience targeted by the “mind-readers”, and the audience enjoyed every minute of it.

The show ended on a positive note when Sailesh had the volunteers remember everything they had done on stage, and then he hypnotized them to boost their self-confidence. In his words, he was going to make them, “look in the mirror every morning and love what they see.” He then gave each volunteer two free hypnosis CDs for mental self-confidence boosting and physical health. He assured them that they would have the best sleep of their life and would wake up feeling refreshed and happy.

Overall, Sailesh’s performance went over extremely well and the students of PSU will no doubt be looking for him to return next year for another great show.
