Fantasy 101

Week 8 Top Player Projections:

Quarterback)

1.     Peyton Manning @WASH : I know I pick him every time and he just lost his homecoming game but he still racked up 25 points. I’m a little concerned if he’s hiding an arm injury seemed to play pretty solid either way. He is also playing an awful secondary in Washington so I have full confidence he’ll have another 20+ point game.

2.     Drew Brees @BUF : Brees has had solid numbers against the AFC East this year.  He has a plethora of weapons in Graham, Colston, Moore, Sproles etc. He’s also coming off a BYE week so he’ll be well rested.

Sleeper: RGIII @DEN: RGIII seems to be back on track, coming off a huge victory against Chicago. When healthy, this guy is the most dangerous Fantasy player in the game, no doubt about it. With Champ Bailey out and a questionable Denver defense RGIII should put up so nice numbers.

Running Back.)

1.     Jamaal Charles @CLE: Charles and the Chiefs just keep rolling and rolling. It should be a dogfight against Cleveland and I fully expect Charles to get the brunt of the offensive plays. Look for his highly successful season to continue.

2.) Marshawn Lynch @STL : Beast mode will be back at it. He’s playing the Rams for crying out loud. The last time they were relevant was when Brady upset them back in ’01

Sleeper: Peyton Hillis @PHI: Remember this guy? My buddy Mike reminded me, he was on the cover of Madden. Most questionable cover of all time. However, he put up some nice numbers with the G-Men last week. Look for it to continue.

Wide Receiver.)

1.)  Dez Bryant @DET: Despite the Cowboys having a poor offensive performance last week, they have momentum going and Bryant still managed to score 11 points. Although he’s playing a legit Detroit defense, Bryant should squeak in a touchdown or two.

2.)  A.J. Green @NYJ: This guy is just a freak athlete. Quietly putting up huge numbers this season. Coming off two huge games, I expect him to have another one, despite going against a respectable Jets defense.

Sleeper: Jordy Nelson @MIN: He’s had two great games recently. The Vikings are awful. You do the math.

Tight End: Julius Thomas @WASH: This guy has come out of nowhere. Legitimately giving Jimmy Graham a debate to be the greatest TE in the league. Playing a fraudulent skins defense. He’ll have a colossal game.

D/ST: SEA @STL : Sam Bradford is done for season. Hawks are gonna feast. Wouldn’t surprise me if they shut them out.
