Fantasy Football Week 9 BOLD Predictions

Quarterback:

Cam Newton, vs Atl– Cam had a monster game against a Tampa Bay team in despair, throwing for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns while also rushing 50 yards and a score on the ground. Expect Newton to score close to 21 points against YET another team in despair. The Atlanta Falcons offense will not be able to generate enough yards to keep their defense off of the field.

Tony Romo, vs Min– I know he can choke, but I have two words… Dez Bryant. That is all he really needs against a struggling Vikings team. I did say BOLD predictions, which is the reason “Brees” or “Rodgers” haven’t been listed. Look for Romo to throw at least three touchdowns for 300 yards. Even if he throws an interception or two, it will be a positive.

Jake Locker (Sleeper) vs Stl– He really has been a decent quarterback in the games he has played this yard. After coming back from his injury last week he dropped 21 fantasy points on San Fransico. If you own Peyton Manning or any other quarterback that is on a Bye week, I advise you to give Locker a shot.

Running Back:

Ryan Mathews vs Washington– Mathews is the only player this season with consecutive 100 yard rushing games. He is going against a Washington team that doesn’t look as strong defensively as they were last year. Mathews is most likely owned in your league but if not, pick him up. If you are in need of a running back, look at Mathews as a high reward high risk RB2.

Eddie Lacy vs Chi– Lacy has been rushing extremely well ever since Green Bay had their Bye week. His last two games hes scored at least 16 points, which should be more than enough. Rodgers passing game will open up run for Lacy.

Wide Receiver:

Denarius Moore vs Phi– It’s a home game for the Raiders and Moore, who play a Philly defense who cant match up with their own quick offense. Denarius was shut down against Pittsburgh, but coming off a win look for the home crowd to pump up Terrelle Pryor and the boys. Look at Denarius to be a high risk/ high reward WR2.

Golden Tate vs Tampa Bay– On the biggest stage of the regular season, Monday Night Football, Tate was explosive receiving 93 yards for two touchdowns. He was flagged for taunting on a 80-plus yard touchdown, but don’t expect it to hurt his playing time.

Tight End:

Jordan Reed vs SD– The last three weeks of the season Reed has had a touchdown and has averaged 94 yards per game. In a home game against Chicago two weeks ago he had 134 yards and a touchdown. Look for him to once again get close to the 100 yard receiving mark, and look for RG3 to  throw his way if Pierre Garcon is double covered.
