Taking Back Sunday to Release Sixth Album

It’s been three years since Taking Back Sunday released their last album in 2011. The self-titled album was a successful fusion of what older fans came to love on 2002’s fan-favorite and debut album, Tell All Your Friends, and what newer fans came to love on Where You Want to Be, released two years later. Now the band is back with their latest album, due out March 18, entitled Happiness Is. This will be the band’s sixth album altogether, but the second to feature the band’s classic lineup from the Tell All Your Friends era. The album clearly showcases influences by classic alternative rock and punk bands, such as AFI, Alkaline Trio, The Cure, Sunny Day Real Estate, and more. Taking Back Sunday will embark on a co-headlining tour with The Used this coming Fri., March 14, with support from Tonight Alive and Sleepwave. Happiness Is can be streamed on YouTube and Pandora, and is available for preorder on iTunes and Amazon.com.
