1.Women's Lacrosse – Women’s lacrosse is off to a strong 3-2 start with interim head coach Abby Burbank. They have 44 goals, 18 assists and average just shy of nine goals a game.
2. Baseball – Plymouth State baseball is currently 6-9. With some new talent their offense looks alive with 124 hits, seven home runs, and 65 RBI’s.
3. Softball – The softball squad is also 6-8 with a strong showing in Florida. Sporting a .255 average and 49 RBI’s and 48 stolen bases the offense is definitely on the rise. The pitching staff is also on par with a 3.97 ERA and 45 strikeouts.
4. Men’s Lacrosse – The men’s lacrosse team has not had the best start, but they finally picked up a win to boost their record to 1-3. With 36 goals, they are scoring 9.00 goals per game this season.
Individual Athletes
1. Junior Jarek Krajewski (Cranston, RI) Baseball – Krajewski is tearing the cover off the ball; with a .549 average and 16 RBI’s, it is easy to place him at the top of the rankings.
2. Sophomore Megan Tingley (Natick, MA) Women’s Lacrosse – Tingley was named the LEC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the week. She has eight goals and nine assists giving her a total of 17 points and making her the Panthers leading scorer. She’s followed closely, however, by Caroline Vonachen.
3. Junior Caroline Vonachen (Framingham, MA) Women’s Lacrosse – Vonachen has 16 total points, broken down into 14 total goals and two assists.
4. Junior Katie Kennard (Concord, NH) Softball – Kennard has a .371 average in this young season, and leads the team in Hits (13), RBI’s (8), and doubles (3).
5. Junior Adam Haversat (Cape Elizabeth, ME) Men’s Lacrosse – Haversat leads the team with an astounding 26 groundballs in the early campaign.
