The student run organization, PACE, or Programming Activities in a Campus Environment, is planning an exciting trip to Canobie Lake Park on October 22nd. Transportation will be provided. The bus will leave Plymouth at 2pm that Saturday and be back on campus at around 1 am. Tickets are available for purchase in the Student Affairs Office for $20 for PSU students and $35 for non-PSU students. There are 96 spaces available, but 30 are reserved for Blair Hall students.

In addition, the traditional amusement park includes rides such as the Yankee Cannonball and Untamed, and other roller coasters. As well as food and games, Screeemfest features five different haunted houses, Carnivus, Virus Quarantine, Canobie Lake Hotel, Black Hollow Cove, and The Villagers. There are also shows going on, such as the Tribute to Michael: Ghosts, Swingswift Sideshow, and Rocktoberfest. The band playing for Rocktoberfest on the 22nd will be Rock and Roll Over: A Tribute to the Music of Kiss. General admission on Saturdays is typically $38 per person, so PACE is offering a good deal.

Other Great Escapes that PACE has hosted have been a sold-out trip to New York City and a very successful trip to Boston. In addition to Great Escapes, PACE also plans the Winter Carnival, homecoming, an upcoming Halloween party on the 29th of October called “A Night to Dismember,” movie nights, and many other activities.
