Thanksgiving is coming fast, and Plymouth State University is having its annual Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday the 19th, in Prospect Dining Hall. Lynn Davis, an employee at the dining hall, said, “It’s a time for friends to have Thanksgiving together,” so we can celebrate a Friendsgiving with each other.

The Thanksgiving dinner is a tradition cherished by most people, whether it’s for time with loved ones or time with loved foods. Plymouth State University will provide both of these things. “We will have all the normal Thanksgiving foods. We will also have the same as we do all the time for gluten free or vegetarian, along with some choices from our normal menu for people who aren’t into the whole Thanksgiving theme,” said Da vis. According to Sandy Marrotte, the Sodexo General Manager, “The Patriots Game will also be shown.”

The fee to register for a Thanksgiving dinner at Prospect Dining Hall is $5 until November 17th, and $10 until the 19th. To register for a Thanksgiving dinner, call (603) 535-2710. Davis had this to say about registration, “You could also register at the front desk, too. We have people [make] a reservation [so] we know how many people are coming in certain time slots. We don’t want food sitting around all day; we want to make sure everything’s fresh.” The times available for the event are 5:00-5:40pm, 5:50-6:30pm, or 6:40-7:20pm.

From tofu to turkey, the student body is offered an affordable and easy Thanksgiving dinner served by Sodexo. Even if you can’t make it home for Thanksgiving, you can still enjoy a traditional feast for the holidays.
