1. Men’s indoor Track and Field (Last Issue: UR) The Men’s Track and Field team finished third on Saturday at the PSU Winter Classic in the Bank of New Hampshire Field House at the ALLWell North Center where they set two program records. The 4X 200M Relay team also scored a 2nd place finish while earning first overall over other Division III schools.
2. Women’s Indoor Track and Field (Last Issue: UR) The Women’s Track and Field team earned a fourth-place finish at the PSU Winter Classic while also breaking multiple school records.
3. Men’s Hockey (Last Issue: 3):The Men’s Ice Hockey team
continued their impressive season as they shutout NCAA Div. II Saint Anselm on Salute the Troops Night last Saturday night, 4-0, to close out 2017 at home.
4. Women’s Swimming and Diving (Last Issue: UR): Despite two wins in diving, the Women’s Swimming, and Diving team suffered a 120-100 loss Saturday afternoon to fall to 1-4 on the season.
Individual athletes
1.Freshman Terrell Lewis (Nashua, NH) Men’s Track and Field: Lewis set a pair of team records on Saturday as he posted a time of 8.76 in the 60m hurdles and a mark of 1.95 in the high jump.
2.Junior Emelie Lindqvist (Gulleråsen, Sweden) Women’s Ice Hockey: Despite her team coming up short last Friday in a 2-0 loss, Lindqvist recorded 46 saves for her
third 40 save game this season. Her league leading .949 save percentage earned her a spot on the leagues Weekly Honor Roll.
3.Freshman Dylan da Silva (Bayville, NJ) Wrestling: Da Silva went 4-0 during the Ted Reese Invitational hosted by the University of Southern Maine while also winning the 184-pound bracket. His 11-2 re- cord helped him earn co-rookie of the week honors
4. Sophomore Casey Allaire (Mattapoisett, MA) Women’s Swimming: Allaire picked up a pair of wins in both diving events on Saturday at Westfield state. She finished with a score of 219.45 in the 1-meter dive and 216.15 in the 3-meter event.
