PLYMOUTH, NH — After two days of voting, the ballots were counted on Thur., Oct., 10, 2013 in Room 109 of the Hartman Union Building, and by a count of 93-75, the tenured and tenure-track faculty members of Plymouth State University voted against unionizing.
A handful of faculty members were in attendance to observe the voting. After 15 minutes of tallying the votes, the count stood 93 NO and 75 YES with two votes being thrown out to be reviewed later.
The room emptied quietly with the news that nothing would be changing at PSU.
