Vocal Order hosts Hyannis Sound

Vocal Order took the stage on March 30 in Hyde 220 with another exciting performance. The group started the night with the well known Gnarls Barkley tune “Crazy” ,continuing with the crowd-pleasing tune of “Yellow Submarine.” All the songs were accompanied by comedic acts that went to the tune. This was just a warm-up for the competition that these seven men would be attending the following day. Running from the stage after their last song, they received thunderous applause from the greatly appreciative crowd.

After a short intermission Hyannis Sound came to the stage to once again put on a great show. The crowd was extremely excited to meet all the members, including two of the new guys. Dave Snell, is a student from UNH, the other, Brian O’Shaughnessy, of PSU.

It was both a treat and a disappointment to know that two of the members performing are moving on from Hyannis Sound to bigger and better things after graduating. Both members discussed their need to get “real jobs.” Each one of the members chatted about the amazing time and experience that they have had being part of Hyannis Sound.

The show included a plethora of songs from the Foo Fighters to James Taylor. This a capella group has once again performed an amazing show at PSU. Following the show they were on the way to Woodstock, VT for another performance during their tour.
