The first annual Bad Dawgs Hot Dog Eating Contest will be held on Saturday, May 5. This incredible display of glutinous glory is sponsored by WPCR, Coca-Cola and Bad Dawgs, Plymouth’s very own gourmet hot dog franchise students here all know and love.
The registration fee is only $10, and with that one will receive as many Bad Dawgs hot dogs one can eat as well as a free t-shirt and water provided by Coca-Cola. It is all for a good cause, as all of the proceeds will go to the Main St. Beautification Project, keeping Main Street clean and beautiful.
All ages are welcome, and all contestants will be put into their designated divisions to see who among their peers can eat the most hot dogs in 12 minutes. The divisions are separated by gender and divided into groups by age: 12 and under, 13-17, and 18+. Prizes, t-shirts and more will be awarded to the winners of the contest, along with the coveted title of Hot Dog Eating Champion of Plymouth.
