Tommy Vee Hypnotizes the HUB

Roars of laughter applause could be heard all through the Hub on Wednesday night when Tommy Vee, a hypnotist from Salem, NH, hypnotized a group of PSU students. Vee guided the participants through a series of entertaining scenarios. As a group, the students watched a nude beach volleyball game, became exotic dancers, gaped at a naked audience and lost their belly buttons. Participant, Jake Boewe, played the role of a Chinese Emperor and suddenly had the talent to yell in fluent Japanese. Another participant, Vicki Robinson, became very distressed when the number six was removed from her memory. She was unable to understand why nine minus three was suddenly seven. Before ending the show, Vee added one last touch. The participants would not remember the content of the show until 8:45, fifteen minutes from the end of the show. This resulted in quite a few confused and angry participants. Katy Cohn, who was revolted during the show by an “unexplained odor,” stated, “the show was cancelled.” Other participants, like Robin Chaffey and Vicki Robinson also insisted the show never happened and that Vee never arrived. All of the students denied participating in the show until the 8:45 deadline when all memory was restored. Katy Cohn laughed as she remembered, “Everyone was nude!” Quite a few faces were red from embarrassment.
