Spring Fling – Plymouth State looks back

For three years, the Spring Fling Committee has debated whether or not Dropkick Murphys was a good idea to bring to Plymouth State as a Spring Fling act. Each year, the idea was shot down – too much security would be needed, the band was a bad match for the school, not a lot of people know who Dropkick Murphys is and would not be interested in coming, and if they came, people would go crazy and cause a lot of trouble – thank you, Plymouth State, for enjoying yourselves and making the weekend, for the most part, a safe and fun one.

That being said, the words “for the most part” did occur in that last sentence, and it does need to be addressed.
