Drinking

To the Clock Editor,

I am a senior and for the last three years I have worked in the judicial office as a student worker. Generally I think and feel many of the same opinions as other students do in regards to the rules and regulations of our University. However, it frustrates me to no end to see the number of violations that occur in regards to open containers, underage drinking, littering and internal possession. For those that live off campus and believe you are excused from the University’s student conduct code; you are wrong. We are all students at Plymouth State University and by choosing this school we have also chosen to live under the rules and regulations that they have created. I am writing this letter because I am sick of seeing people do stupid things such as walk outside with beer and pay heavily for something that could have been easily avoided. I feel that we as students on and off campus are unaware of all the laws especially those added in the recent years with internal possession and house parties. Know your rights, know the laws, know your boundaries and most of all have fun, but be smart doing so.
