PSU Global Experience

Welcome to the new PSU Global Experience column where we will be featuring different articles each edition on international education, studying abroad, and global issues. The purpose of this article is to keep the student body up-to-date with global issues and happenings at PSU. As a new column, we want to hear from you on any possible contributions or topics that you would like to see covered. Please feel free to contact me via e-mail at kdtobin@plymouth.edu or come down to the Center for Global Engagement in Mary Lyon Hall and see how you can get involved.
Our mission at the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) is to facilitate international diversity, foster global understanding and awareness, and enhance internationalization efforts within the Plymouth State community through the following:
Intercultural Programs
International student, and faculty services
Intercultural workshops and classes
Exchange programs
Collaborative efforts with academic departments
Our goal is to promote interaction among students of all cultures and help develop a culturally enriching learning environment throughout the Plymouth State community. One of our events is an International Coffee Hour which is a unique opportunity to socialize over tasty treats and a great assortment of beverages. We invite you to join us for this event, and many others held throughout the year. Check the Global PSU website for more information throughout the year.
