Dear Editor:
This past Wednesday I traveled to Hanover, N.H. to volunteer at the Democratic Debates at Dartmouth. The response from students from all over the state was enormous, yet those attending from PSU were overall too few. Considering the amount of hype that surrounds this state with the presidential primaries it is upsetting to see the lack of excitement on our own campus. It would seem that students here are more invested in finding something to do for the weekend rather than taking part in something that really affects on our lives. After being able to rally before the debates and have the privilege to see Hillary Clinton in person, I would like to urge PSU students to take action. I push for students to be a part of PSU Democrats or to volunteer for a campaign itself. Get involved! Students in politics help create change everyday, and if for no other reason it can just help build your resume.
