The Marketing Association of Plymouth State, or MAPS, has just started its very own business here on campus. Statement is a print shop where clubs, organizations, individuals, and even outside businesses can order custom shirts and other cool apparel.
On Thursday, September 27th, MAPS had their open house marking to the opening of Statement here on Plymouth State campus. PSU Professor, Brad Allen, said, “MAPS decided to do Statement and Compass (a student based consulting group for social media), they are just different directions that the students decided on, to branch out and broaden the marketing experience at Plymouth State University.”
Statement is using the money made at the print shop to help support MAPS as it plans its trips throughout the semester. Tristan Beaulieu, a student here at Plymouth State, said, “It funds stuff like our trip to New Orleans, and other things like the Teddy Bear Toss, and the Chili Cook-off. Our goal is to achieve 30,000 in revenue with a 55% profit margin.”
If you want to order shirts from Statement you can reach out to Tristan Beaulieu, by emailing him at TCB1002@plymouth.edu. Statement also offers a variety of different apparel such as hats, jackets, polos, sweatshirts, and Beaulieu said that they have even done baby onesies in the past.
With Statement now on campus, it will offer the people at PSU a reasonably priced, and locally made product for any club, organization, or student to take advantage of.
