Plymouth State University is mourning the loss of John “Bo” Wiblyi, a 20-year-old junior who was discovered unconscious in his bedroom at his off campus apartment on Saturday, September 12.
Emergency crews were called to 4 Gould Terrace just before 8 a.m. He was pronounced dead at Speare Memorial Hospital later that morning.
Police and the N.H. medical examiners office are still investigating the cause of death. According to a press release from the Plymouth Police Department, alcohol and drugs may have played a role in his death.
Wiblyi, originally from Burlington Conn., was studying communications and business at PSU.
According to a campus wide email sent by Vice President of Student Affairs, Dick Hage, a memorial service will be held for Wiblyi at a later date.
