Dear Editor, Monday evening I was in attendance at the 2nd Congressional District Forum held at Plymouth State University. I am now proud to say without reservation that Grant Bosse is the only candidate worth casting my vote for. I have to admit that I was very impressed by Mr. Bosse’s strong command for the issues. Bosse’s performance was not the only surprise of the evening. I was even more taken aback by the abysmal performance of front runner Jennifer Horn. Mrs. Horn was ill prepared and gave lackluster answers on every question thrown her way. It seemed as if she wanted to tell a personal story about every issue instead of outlining her stances and solutions. In candidate Jim Steiner’s defense, I do believe that he prepared himself well and provided those in attendance with some very interesting ideas even if at times he was a little long in the tooth. In the end though, I came away convinced that Mr. Bosse is by far the most qualified person to represent our state in Washington. Grant Bosse is the only candidate running in the Second Congressional District who has consistently demanded that our leaders remain true to what the Constitution allows or calls for. As Congressman he would work to restore us to our necessary foundations. Forget the promises of the other candidates which will only create more hardship for New Hampshire’s citizenry. What our state needs is real solutions based in sound ideas and principled leadership. The farther you get from the foundation of government the more shaky it becomes. We don’t need band-aid solutions proposed by populist candidates…we need to quit covering up the root of our problems. The Constitution is the document foundational to the life and success of this nation but the behavior of our two representatives in Congress these last few years has taken us farther away from that foundation. Grant Bosse will only require that leaders remain true to what the Constitution allows or calls for. As our Congressman he would work to restore us to those necessary foundations. That’s why, come this fall, I’ll be voting freedom first. I’ll be voting Bosse for Congress.
