P.A.C.E. Haunts the HUB

On Friday November 2nd, P.A.C.E put together a haunted house in rooms 109 and 123 on the top floor of the HUB. By the time they opened at 7 PM the line was backed up to the stairwell.

Before entering, everyone had to fill out a two question survey and received a free T-Shirt that had an intense Halloween design on both the front and back.

Surprises lurked all over the haunted house. Zombies popped out of coffins and shrieked freakishly loud. Every time there was a turn or a dark corner, there was something jumping out of it, and it was enough to make the toughest person scream like a little girl.

Ethan Batton, junior and a member of P.A.C.E, said, “It was frightening and fun and I hope it will become a P.A.C.E tradition for the years to come.”

P.A.C.E did a great job decorating the two rooms, using lots of fake spider webs, coffins, fake bodies, and sound effects. Everyone who played a character inside the haunted house showed incredible enthusiasmm and took their roles seriously, which made it that much more realistic while walking through.

Kyle Fisk, a first year student, said, “It was really well thought out and well put together.” Fisk was also the winner of the evenings costume contest, wearing a full wolf costume. He remarked, “Just call me wolf-man.”
