Back from St. Louis!

From October 25 to the 29, most of The Clock staff traveled to St. Louis, Missouri to attend the 2006 Associated College Press National Convention. We went to meet other college newspaper staffs, attend sessions to improve the newspaper, and of course, do a little sightseeing.

We, as a staff, are proud of our paper and the work that we put forth each week, but we know that we can do better. We learned a lot at the conference, and one of the most important things that was stressed was campus involvement regarding what is included in the paper. As a result, we want to know what you think. In the upcoming weeks, The Clock staff will host a forum to ask for your opinions. What do you want more of? Are there things you no longer want to see in the paper? What needs to be covered that isn’t? What do you expect from the student newspaper of Plymouth State University?

Please consider this an invitation from The Clock staff to our readers. Further information about the event will be available in next week’s paper. If there is an issue you would like to discuss before the forum, send an e-mail to The Clock at editor@plymouth.edu.

Come and tell us what you want, because it is our job to serve you.

Sincerely,Samantha KenneyEditor – In – Chief
