On Tuesday, Governor Lynch and District Two Senate hopeful Deb Reynolds intended to give a speech at Noyes Insurance and then tour local Plymouth area businesses. Governor Lynch cancelled in order to stay with the family of a Manchester officer who was shot Tuesday morning.
Reynolds recovered, though, and still offered a speech. A New Hampshire resident of 25 years who earned her law degree at Franklin Pierce, Reynolds is on the Democratic ticket. She is running on a platform of public education; her and Lynch’s goal is to create an educated work force, where “students have educational opportunities to finish school and get good jobs.” She also hopes to have all kids in New Hampshire covered under health insurance. Reynolds promised to “only represent the people in the district.”
After her speech, Reynolds stayed to speak with reporters, students, and the public. She and her supporters believe strongly that they will unseat Senator Carl Johnson this upcoming election.
