Dick and Jane: A gut busting comedy to hit stores soon

High expectation are held by fans of Jim Carrey films and the wildly hilarious comedy Fun With Dick and Jane will fill the publics appetitie for hearty humor with it’s plethora of memorable moments, belt-loop busting humor and overall entertainment when it lands in stores on DVD next week.

Fun With Dick and Jane, directed by Dean Parisot, is a remake of the 1977 comedy where a man and wife turn to robbery in order to pay their bills.

In the first few scenes Dick and Jane are established as a somewhat normal family. They live in a nice house in a nice neighborhood. They drive expensive cars, have a nanny for their son, and a dog named Spot.

To add to the couple’s good fortune Dick has just received a promotion from his company and Jane has quit her job to spend more time with their son.

Unfortunately, their prosperity does not last long as the company Dick works for folds. Dick assures Jane they can live off their savings and his pension, but as months go by the couple is threatened with losing their house- and their pride.

Dick and Jane embrace their wild side and take on thievery as their new occupations to rebuild their financial lives.

Fun With Dick and Jane has a star-filled cast including Jim Carrey (Bruce Almighty, Me, Myself and Irene), Tea Leoni (The Family Man, Spanglish) and Alec Baldwin (The Aviator, Elizabethtown).

The 90-minute feature film, is rated PG-13 for brief language, some sexual humor and occasional humorous drug references is set to be released on April 11.
