PLYMOUTH, NH–Plymouth Police reported on Friday that the body of a man reported missing last month has been found in the Baker River.
The official cause of death for 51-year-old Michael Gatto has been determined to be drowning, and no foul play occurred in this case.
Gatto went missing along the river on Sept. 14, while camping with a friend alongside the river. The friend reported him missing at about 9:30 p.m.
On Friday afternoon, a man walking his dog discovered the body in the river. Authorities identified the body as Gatto’s.
