Week 12 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

Quarterback:

Ben Roethlisberger @ Cle– The big guy has really turned it on and after a big come from behind win in Detroit, The Pittsburgh Steelers are starting to turn around season that was already lost. They are basically the “NY Giants” of the AFC; only difference is that Big Ben is having a better season then Eli. Joe Haden of the Cleveland Browns should give Antonio Brown a hard time (held AJ Green to two catches for less than 10 yards last sunday) but Jerricho Cotchery has five touchdowns in the last three games, and is looking like one of Ben’s favorite red zone targets. Look at for a big game from Roethlisberger who is fighting to get back in the division race.

Mike Glennon @ Det– If you are in desperate need of a quarterback then what is wrong with the secret weapon out of Tampa Bay? In the six games since the Buc’s bye week Glennon has thrown for 10 touchdowns and only two interceptions. Detroit’s secondary gave up four touchdowns to the Steelers last week, and don’t look to be getting any better after also blowing the game at the end. Vincent Jackson is a warrior and will make some big plays for Glennon, making him fantasy relevant moving forward.

Running Back:

Bobby Rainey @ DetI’m not going to sell too high on this player due to Atlanta’s poor defense, but that little guy can sure run. Detroit is most definitely not the easiest team to run on, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rainey get more catches out of the backfield. Four Touchdowns and over 200 yards in the past two weeks say it all, he is a viable RB2/Flex if you are in need on waiver Wednesday.

Rashard Jennings @ Ten-If you didn’t pick him up last week due to numerous disappointments in the past, I feel bad for you. Jennings is solidifying his role as a potential starter moving forward after running an electrifying 80 yard run against a hurt Houston Defense. He had 150 total yards and a touchdown which could easily be duplicated against Tennessee. Pick up Jennings if he is still available and you are in need, he is not only trending upward in fantasy but also with his respected team.

Wide Reciever:

Jerricho Cotchery @ CleCotchery is proving to be one of Big Ben’s favorite targets this season and 13 redzone targets make him tied with Antonio Brown for the team lead. Brown with be All-Pro Joe Haden’s main lock on so look for a lot of passes to go Cotchery’s way. He has been on fire lately finding the end zone five times in three games. Pick up Cotchery if you want a low-end WR2 that could Boom for you.

Michael Floyd Vs Ind– The former Notre Dame standout is having a solid season and currently leads the Cardinals receiving core in total yards. Against the Jaguars last week Floyd had six catches for 193 yards and a score. Look at Floyd a flex option with a high upside that could easily go off on a defense that gave up four touchdowns to rookie Tavon Austin.

Tight End:

Garrett Graham vs JaxYou can’t go wrong with any player that is versing the Jaguars in fantasy and if Case Keenum is a go at quarterback for Houston then Graham is a valuable waiver wire tight end. Graham, who is only owned in 25 percent of leagues, had a huge game last week against Oakland receiving for 136 yards and a long touchdown. With four touchdowns this year to date, the Texans tight end is a must use option if you are in desperate need.
