Thanks to his great pitching performance in both ends of last weekend’s doubleheader against Western Connecticut, Plymouth State senior Rew Wilson was named to the Division 3 National Team of the Week.
In two appearances against Western Conn., Wilson was able to pitch a combined eight scoreless innings, earing a 1-0 record and a save as the Panthers swept WCU. Wilson was able to limit the Colonials to a mere two base runners, on just a walk and a single, while striking out an eye-popping eleven batters. Wilson pitched the final two-and-a-third innings in the first game to record his first save of the season.
