PLYMOUTH, N.H. – To help individuals learn about anxiety and depressive disorders, their symptoms and effective treatments, the Counseling and Human Relations Center of Plymouth State University will hold a FREE program and screening in the HUB Fireplace Lounge on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. as part of National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day.The program includes viewing a video, receiving information about anxiety disorders and depression, completing a screening questionnaire, a confidential meeting with a mental health professional, and receiving a referral if necessary. Anxiety and depressive symptoms can include worrying all the time, being afraid in social situations, anticipating your next panic attack, feeling sad, having difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, or getting headaches for no other medical reason.
