Tracy Morgan Brings Laughs and Shock to Plymouth

While he may be famous for his stint on “Saturday Night Live” and more recently starring on the NBC comedy “30 Rock”, Comedian Tracy Morgan got back to his stand up roots at the Flying Monkey Performance Center in Plymouth NH Friday night.

The Emmy nominated comedian took to the stage and riffed on a range of topics, mostly in a manner that can’t quite be printed here.  Morgan, fresh off his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, took every opportunity to poke fun at the more rural sensibilities of New Hampshire, much to the delight of the audience.

Morgan also took advantage of his appearance being billed as containing “adult material”, even more so than some audience members expected.  While some were shocked by some the comedians’ performance, many fans were delighted, having traveled well beyond state borders to see the show.  One fan, Leann, traveled from Mansfield, MA to see Morgan perform.  “I thought it was awesome.  He was {EXPLICIT} hilarious”, she said.  Ardie Fuqua, one of Morgan’s opening acts and a known presence at New York City’s Comedy Cellar, was impressed with how perceptive the audience was, saying that he tested how far he could push the envelop during his set, and them Morgan brought it one step.  Whether audience members were happy with being shocked, they were all certainly laughing.
