Plymouth, N.H.-Information Technology Services (ITS) recently announced the “rollout” of wireless service across the Plymouth State campus. The new service is free for faculty, students and staff.
Properly equipped laptop computers may access this new service in various Hot Spots on campus. Current Hot Spots include the Hartman Union Building from the Fireplace Lounge to the snack bar and Lamson Library in the main and upper floors. There are other, more limited Hot Spots in Boyd, Hyde, Rounds and Silver Halls, as well as Speare and Frost Commons.
These new additions are part of ITS’ ongoing mission to create wireless service throughout the rest of the PSU campus. Wireless access allows PSU to. By going wireless PSU is keeping up with the new technological trend, joining such colleges and universities as Indiana University, Purdue University, Dartmouth College, and Boston College.
