I understand that the “Weekly Sports Trivia Quiz” is written by a syndicated source, but that doesn’t dismiss one of the answers in the October 22nd issue being half wrong:

The Minnesota Twins are named after both their state and their cities, as Twins is short for Twin Cities, hence the TC logo on their hats: the twin cities of course being St. Paul and Minneapolis.
