Hot:
Jared Sullinger, F/C (Bos) – This man is an absolute double-double machine. He has been extremely strong on the boards down low, as well as being able to score and shoot from long range. Sully has brushed off early injury woes and is starting to play like a premiere young forward. If he is available, take my advice and pick him up because he is on the rise.
Darren Collison, G (LAC)- Collison has been a force ever since his role has grown because of Chris Paul’s injury. He has been filling in the shoes of CP3 just fine so he deserves a heavy look if you are in need of a healthy guard. During the last six games, Collison has averaged nearly 16 points per game and 6 assists per game, which has led to five Clipper victories. As long as Paul is out, Collison should be in.
Randy Foye, G/F (Den) – Foye has been a force for the Nuggets, especially as a nice distributor fill-in for all-star teammate Ty Lawson. Foye has scored double-figures for 17 consecutive games, and was able to hit a late three pointer to win Monday’s game against the Clippers. Look for him to continue his strong play even when Lawson returns to the court.
Not:
Glen Davis, F (Orl) – Big Baby just isn’t the same fantasy basketball threat he was in years past. Averaging 12 points and almost 7 rebounds per game, Davis has been a big disappointment and is still on the way down. Players with similar numbers or better should be available in free agency, and fantasy owners should look to move a once promising player.
Jordan Crawford, G (GS)- It is sad to see all the hype of Jordan Crawford having a solid season almost disappear, but it is unlikely to see him back in the prime form we saw this season with Boston. We all know that Golden State relies on Steph Curry for that big shot, decreasing Crawford’s role even further. He is a must drop in standard leagues until proven otherwise.
