Plymouth, NH – Bekah Jackson (junior; Nashua, NH) can add two more accolades to her softball career: Little East Conference Player of the Week and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division III New England Softball Player of the Week, and Whitney Roberts (sophomore; Chocorua, NH) can add Little East Rookie of the Week to her résumé as well.
Jackson batted .643 with 10 extra-base hits and 11 RBIs from April 7th – April 13th. Roberts went 2-0 with a 0.98 earned run average in three appearances for PSU, including a one-run complete-game win against Eastern Connecticut University to snap ECU’s 21-game LEC winning streak. The Panthers were 6-2 in that stretch, splitting a double-header with Castleton University, sweeping a double-header with Lyndon State University, and splitting a double-header with Eastern Connecticut University.
