Actor John Ritter dies at 54

Actor John Ritter died on Thursday night of a heart attack at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. Spokesmen for ABC said Ritter suddenly collapsed on set of his sitcom due to a heart condition he didn’t even know he had. Ritter most known for his loveable roles in movies like “Stay Tuned” and the 70’s sitcom “Three’s Company”, died due to a coronary artery tear doctors say. Ritter’s career was in a state of renewal with his new ABC sitcom “8 Rules to Dating My Teenage Daughter”, which was planned to start shooting it’s second season this fall. Fans and family alike will grieve his premature death severely. Ritter will always be remembered for his role as funny man Jack Tripper in the classic 70’s sitcom “Three’s Company. He is survived by his wife Amy Yasbeck and their daughter, Stella and his three other children from a previous marriage. He died one week shy of his 55th birthday.
